Ford Ghia Via Wheel

Moray Callum, retired Ford head of design, hired me to recreate the original wheel covers for the 1989 Ghia Via show car in Autodesk Alias. Moray purchased the car a few years ago, but at some point the original wheels had been replaced with aftermarket rims and the originals were lost. Moray sought to have the originals recreated and custom fabricated. With only photographs as reference, I was able to faithfully recreate the original design. The highly sculptural nature of this wheel made it especially challenging to acheive in Alias, as most wheels today have a much more machined appearance.
